It was said that Daleks do not have names("Doomsday"), it was also said Daleks would never do anything that would make them abominations(emotions) they consider it a sickness, They would rather die(Doctor Who(2005-) Season 1 episode 6 "Dalek" and "The Parting of the Ways"). They also consider all other life forms Mutants as said in Doctor Who(1963-) Season 1 Episode 2 "The Mutants AKA The Daleks". The reason the Cult of Skaro have names is so they can better understand their enemies. The conversaion of why the Cult of skaro have names that I am referring to was in Doctor Who(2005-) Season 2 Episode 13 "Doomsday" at 19:40 mins where the Doctor says and I quote "At last The Cult of Skaro, I thought you were just a legend, a secret order, above and beyond the emporer himself, their job was to imagine, think as the enemy thinks, even to have names, all to find new ways of killing" this conversion was all because Rose asked The Doctor at 19:25mins "Doctor they all have names, I mean daleks don't have names do they"

As far as we know, the only Daleks to have had names were the four members of the Cult of Skaro: Dalek Sec (a Black Dalek & the leader of the Cult), Dalek Jast, Dalek Thay & Dalek Caan (the last survivor of the four). They appeared in "Doomsday" & "Daleks in Manhattan"/"Evolution of the Daleks" (in which 3 were killed). Caan also appeared in "The Stolen Earth"/"Journey's End".
