In "The Time of the Doctor", the Doctor told Clara that he'd been given "A whole new regeneration cycle." He didn't say how many regenerations that was. We know from the same story (as well as from "The Deadly Assassin") that a Time Lord's first regeneration cycle consists of 12 regenerations but have never been given information about any regeneration cycle beyond the first.

In "Kill the Moon", the Doctor said, "I'm not entirely sure that I won't keep on regenerating for ever." In "Hell Bent", Rassilon also seemed unsure how many regenerations the Doctor has left. We therefore don't know how many regenerations the Doctor was given.
