In "The Day of the Doctor", the Curator did not definitely identify himself as the Fourth (or any other) Doctor. Instead, he strongly hinted that he was a future incarnation of the Doctor (not a past incarnation) & that the Doctor would indeed regenerate into the same appearance & personality as a past incarnation. He also implied that this could happen more than once -- "revisiting old favourites" (plural).
