Your answer included assumptions not supported by anything established in episodes, such as the statement that the aborted regeneration in "Journey's End" cost the Doctor one of his incarnations. Not only has that not been established but also it's been contradicted -- in-universe, by implication; out-of-universe, by direct statements from members of the production team that it did not count against the limit of 12 regenerations.
