It's simply the Doctor Who theme & has no other name. It was written specially for the show by Ron Grainer & first recorded by Delia Derbyshire of the BBC's Radiophonic Workshop. The version first broadcast (at the opening of "An Unearthly Child" in 1963) was used at the start of "The Day of the Doctor", the 50th Anniversary Special.
