The Doctor's death has yet to be depicted in the "true" timeline (regeneration "deaths" such as when the Seventh Doctor "died" on Dec. 31, 1999 in "Doctor Who", the TV movie, doesn't count). In the alternate timeline of "Turn Left", the Doctor died at some point around Christmas Day, 2008 (per the dating of "The Runaway Bride", which took place during the era when all "present-day" Earth stories were set a year hence). April 22, 2011 is the date of the Eleventh Doctor's faked death as seen in "The Impossible Astronaut" and "The Wedding of River Song", but that doesn't count either. In "Listen", the Doctor expresses his desire to be the last person in the universe.
