Captain Jack Harkness as portrayed by John Barrowman

Captain Jack Harkness was an agent of the Time Agency the 51st century. He quit and became a conman after he realised the time agency had stolen 2 years of his memory[1]. He was rendered immortal[2] and now lives on Earth heading up an agency known as the Torchwood Institute.[3]

It is possible (but currently unconfirmed) that his immortality will lead to him becoming a creature we know as The Face of Boe.[4]

Sexuality Edit

Harkness has referred to himself as omnisexual. He can be attracted to anyone. He was initially attracted to the Doctor's companion Rose Tyler, as well as the Doctor.
