We're being led to believe that there are two options for who this 'Good Man' is. One is obviously the Doctor who went to 'War' to save Amy Pond and her daughter. The other is Rory William who went to 'War' for his wife and child. The major implication I see is when River saw Rory at the beginning of "A Good Man Goes to War". She stopped and looked at him almost as if she'd seen a ghost. When he asks her whether or not they met, she said his name softly almost affectionately, and then when he asks her 'what's wrong' she moves on to where she happened to be with the Doctor. The answer is not cut and dry, yet, but I believe the Good Man to be either the Doctor or Rory.

Moved Responses: Edit

Considering that in "A GOOD MAN GOES TO WAR" Amy and Rory's child is revealed to be River Song, and, using the knowledge of the season, we can also assume that River was the girl in the spacesuit in "THE IMPOSSIBLE ASTRONAUT" who kills the Doctor. I then believe that River kills the Doctor when she is a little girl, raised to be the ultimate weapon against him. To be concise: the Doctor ---- "we can also assume that River was the girl ... Who kills the Doctor." No we can't. For one thing, the girl broke out of the spacesuit in 1969. The spacesuit (or whoever was in it) killed the Doctor in 2011, 42 years later. We don't know who was in it then. For another thing, we don't (yet) know for sure the girl in the suit was River/Melody. We're obviously meant to think River killed the Doctor but whether or not she did is still not known. ---- We're being led to believe that there are two options for who this 'Good Man' is.
